The IAAP Annual Convention is the largest aggregates industry convention in the Midwest with over 400 attendees each year. 


Convention and Safety Conference Information

This year’s Safety Conference promises to be very informative with topics of critical interest to aggregate miners, supervisors and safety professionals in Illinois and surrounding states. You may also talk with vendors offering products designed to enhance mining safety. The Safety Conference will begin with check-in at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1st and will conclude by noon on Wednesday, March 2nd.

The IAAP Convention will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2nd with informative seminars focusing on aggregate industry issues followed by the Sustainability Reception at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, March 3rd the day will begin at 8:30 a.m. There will be an expo showcasing our Associate Members’ products and services, more educational seminars, the Associates’ and Awards Luncheon, and an evening reception to conclude the day. Guests from MSHA, IDOT and other State agencies are also invited to attend. This event provides an excellent opportunity to improve your business relationships while spending an enjoyable time with these special guests.

Individual Sponsorship $25
The individual’s name will be recognized on a sign at the entrance to the reception and by the sponsorship ribbon added to their name badge on convention day.

The Associates’ Expo is a key part of this event—an opportunity to exhibit your products and services to a large number of IAAP Producer Members.
Located on the 1st floor of the hotel during the convention on March 3rd

$325 per space
Price includes 10’ wide by 8’ deep space with an 8’ tall backdrop, a display table (8’x2’), chairs, electrical outlets, wireless internet, donation towards the Associates’ Luncheon held on March 3rd which entitles your company special recognition in the Convention program and during lunch. 
Note: all companies participating in the Expo must purchase booth space and pay the $150 registration fee for each attendee and booth worker.

This booth configuration will be available to the first 72 associates & a limited number of corner booths will be available. Please indicate your needs on the registration form.

Again this year, attendees can win door prizes for visiting your company in the expo.
