Legislative Breakfast

IAAP and the Laborers’ District Council of Chicago and Vicinity

The IAAP actively works for legislation that helps the aggregates industry while fighting against legislation that hurts your interests. To be successful, these efforts require face-to-face contacts with members of the Illinois General Assembly. You can be an active and effective part of these efforts by attending the Legislative Breakfast sponsored by the IAAP and the Laborers’ District Council of Chicago and Vicinity on March 24, 2010, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., at the Sangamo Club, located in Springfield, Illinois.

Invitations to this event have been mailed to every Illinois State Senator and Representative. The IAAP and the Chicago Laborers’ also want large numbers of our members to attend. Our goal is simple: we want every State legislator who attends our breakfast be greeted by an IAAP producer member, IAAP associate member and/or a member of the Laborers’ District Council of Chicago and Vicinity.

The IAAP / Chicago Laborer’s Legislative Breakfast provides an excellent opportunity for you to have quality “face time” with the men and women who represent you in Springfield. And at the conclusion of our event, IAAP staff will be available to escort you to the Capitol Complex in order to look up any State Representative or Senator you haven’t already seen.
