CONGRATULATIONS go out from
the IAAP Safety Committee to everyone working in the aggregate mining industry
in Illinois for another FATALITY FREE year in 2010. Working together we ensured
Illinois was again one of the safest places to be a miner. As in previous years,
the Safety Committee will celebrate this achievement by conducting a hard hat
sticker design contest. The winning entry will be produced for distribution to every member mining company and during the IAAP
Annual Convention on May 3, 2011.
The IAAP will award a $250 cash prize to this year’s sticker design contest
winner.
Take this opportunity to express your creative talent by submitting a design(s)
for consideration. Each entry should clearly show the color(s) and state the
safety slogan or other lettering you would like us to see on the sticker. The
PDF document you may download from this page contains every previous award
winning sticker giving you ideas to build upon.

The IAAP Safety Committee will select the winning entry during its February 9,
2011 meeting in Springfield.
