The U.S. EPA has released its proposed Multi-Sector General Permit for stormwater discharges. It is very likely to affect the Illinois General Industrial Storm Water (ILR00) Permits that apply to crushers and perhaps CCDD sites. The current Illinois EPA General Storm Water (ILR00) Permit is modeled after this federal permit. The proposed changes, if authorized, are VERY likely to find their way to the Illinois EPA General Industrial Storm Water (ILR00) Permit at its next renewal in 2022.
